Private Sessions
Private sessions are an opportunity to spend some time in focused inquiry. Staying in the present moment to see through our ideas and beliefs can sometimes seem overwhelming. Many of you have probably had the experience of leaving a retreat only to find yourself falling back into your previous conditioning. It can be challenging to navigate our lives from a new state of awareness, especially with people in our lives who are used to us being the way we were. We can find ourselves too easily forgetting – falling back into the dream state again, and then waiting for the next retreat to get us back on track.
Waking up, or having a direct experience, has often been compared with walking into a new room – seeing the world with new eyes. However, just because we have had these experiences does not mean we know how to maneuver in this new world. The experience does not come with a manual, and life has a way of bringing us into contact with aspects of our being that are still in resistance, or still asleep. Private sessions are not about creating more ideas, but are rather a one-on-one opportunity to uncover what is untrue until nothing is left.
